A witch is a descendant of Hadya, an ancient high priestess of Egypt who was given the gift of magic by the gods, along with the ability to pass it along to her descendants.
Along with magic, they are also gifted in their knowledge of nature: both in healing, and in poisons.
Anything of the earth can be a witch’s power. The traditional Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Metal are the most commonly practiced. They can create Charms, binding spells, potions (and poisons), and make herbal mixes for the ill. They can bless you, and curse you.
The most common power of a witch is witch-fire, a palm size orb of energy that can stun or cause injury to a person if struck by it. The strength of a witch's fire can be seen in the colors of their called flame. The common orange flame is the easiest to call, though it is known as the weakest of the flames it still can cause major injury if used correctly.
The next level is a deep green flame that is one step higher and stronger than the orange but just below the most powerful white/silver flame. Each has their own strength, one up on the other, though each and all are powerful in their own right and should never be underestimated.
Witch fire is the first and last spell a witch learns in their life time.
A witch is not immortal, although they do age very slowly and are resistant to disease.
